Sized for small venues and practice spaces, the Yamaha Stage Custom Hip kit provides a big sound from a compact configuration. How compact? The entire kit can fit into a 20' kick drum case and 14" floor tom case"? and most trunks! However, its diminutive footprint doesn't mean it has a small-sized tone. The Stage Custom Hip also includes a snare strainer on the floor tom for adding an optional second, deeper snare. The shallow bass drum works as a great sub-kick to really enhance the low end of your regular sized bass drum. The floor tom/snare drum is a great add-on for different playing possibilities. Lastly, The Stage Custom Hip fits in common size cases for easy transport. The shallow depth of the drums allow them to stack in standard cases, which also reduces setup time.

Its 6-ply birch shells boast a lively attack with warm, clear overtones, which speak openly at both high and low registers. So whether you play hip-hop, dance, Americana, or jazz, this kit delivers.
