If you have every wanted to know about snare shell construction, this is the event for you! Todd Trent of Taye drums will be in our store for 1 day to show off over 30 snare drums from Taye drums. Featured will be everything from claw wood hoop maple snares, to prototype metal snares. Amoung artist Todd Trent is one of the most respected and will known in the music industry. BIG BEAT 2011
Come and help us break the Guinness World Record of the most drummers playing
the same groove in unison.
This is an event by the Five-Star member drum shops with a total of 16 cities
participating, and will be achieved through a video internet connection, with
the director in each city following the conductor in Seattle.
Each city will have a variety of fun events throughout the day including raffles
and TONS of giveaways of percussion gear from the industry’s best-known
manufacturers, with top big Beat pledge-raisers in each city being awarded special
prizes. There will also be a national raffle with the grand prize-winner getting
a bass drum head signed by Charlie Watts of the Rolling Stones!
THE MONEY COLLECTED WILL GO TO THE MR. HOLLAND OPUS FOUNDATION
SPECTATORS ENTRANCE FEE: $2.00 CASH. Can purchase addition chances for raffle winnings @ $1.00 per ticket.
RULES TO PARTICIPATE:
* fill out registration form in our stores and pay your $5.00 CASH ONLY registration
fee
* If your friends, neighbors, or family want to donate also, and you collect more than $50, your registration fee will be refunded to you. Bring the donations the day of the event.
* bring your bass drum, hi hats, snare, and drum rug to the event. (You can bring your full kit if you wish, but remember YOU are responsible for it)
* have fun and receive lots of “free stuff”
